Yes! Click and collects are available. The pick up address is 52 Swanson Road, Henderson. Again, for your convenience please park out on the main road. Follow the signage up the right hand side of the where the NZ Poi Shop flag is located.
What are Poi balls or Foam balls?
We are the world's first producer and supplier Poi foam. Usually, you would need to go to a foam store, like Para Rubber, and buy foam squares. Then comes the hard part. Cutting both foam squares into spheres. This leads in unnecessary wastage and inconsistent shapes and size poi balls. We thought there had to be a better way! So we researched and scoured the world and was able to make perfect foam spheres. We believe this is such a great solution for Kapahaka groups and school groups to be able to save time and wastage when making your own Poi for performances.
How long are your Poi?
We have 2 lengths which you can choose from in our Koru and Kapahaka Poi. 25cm is our shorter length, which we recommend for beginner Poi users. The next length is 28cm and is more suited to those who have spent more time practicing for performance. This length is the measurement of the plaited stem, or Taura, it doesnt include the poi head, or Upoko, or the pom pom tassel, or hukahuka.
How can I place a bulk order of Poi?
We're here to help spread the joy of Poi! We think that asking these 2 questions might help.
A) What is your budget and kaupapa. If you know what your budget is we can work on a custom package to suit.
B) Do you need a Quote to get funding approved? If you're in need of a quote then we can provide one asap in order for you to submit to your board/school/group for approval.
Feel free to email us with the information about what you are preparing for so we can help you further. hi@nzpoishop.co.nz
